Chapel Hill Plantation

Chapel Hill Plantation is owned and operated by father and son, Steve and Ross McKeehan. We purchased the property in early 2000 and for almost 10 years an intensive management program was implemented. Because of circumstances beyond our control, the results were minimal. After discussions with a biologist, consultants and members of the Deer Farming Industry, we made the decision to high fence the property. When completed, biologists were once again consulted and a new management program began. Some of the finest genetics in the deer industry have been aggressively introduced into the 460 acre enclosure. The results have been astonishing!

Hunting has always been a passion of ours, and we have hunted in this area for over 30 years. Chapel Hill Plantation is located in LaFayette, Alabama. It consists of gentle rolling hills, clover-filled meadows and hardwood knobs and bottoms. We have nice large hunting stands on green fields and in well traveled areas. We continue to provide the deer with high protein plantings and supplemental feedings to ensure large antler growth.
